Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the dScribe app and related services. By using dScribe, you agree to these Terms.

dScribe is provided by Visai Teklabs, a brand operated by EZMOBILE.IN.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing, or using dScribe, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them.

2. Service description

dScribe is a local-first productivity app for notes, todos, reminders, checklists, grocery lists, and vault-style personal information organization.

3. User responsibility for content

You are responsible for the content you create, store, or share through the app. You must ensure your use complies with applicable laws and does not violate third-party rights.

4. Local storage and optional Google Drive backup

dScribe is designed to store core user content on your device. Optional Google Drive backup and restore features may be available and can require account connections you choose to enable.

5. Google Drive backup and Google services

If you enable Google Drive backup, backup and restore depend on your Google account and the availability of Google services, including appDataFolder access.

6. Third-party services

dScribe may rely on third-party services (including Supabase and Google Sign-In) for authentication, account handling, backup metadata, entitlements/subscription status, and related app services.

7. Availability and reliability

We aim to keep dScribe reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change, pause, or become unavailable without prior notice.

8. Backups and data responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Even where optional Google Drive backup features exist, you should keep independent copies of important content.

9. Paid or Pro features

dScribe may include paid or Pro features. Where purchases are made through Google Play, billing, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Google Play policies and terms.

10. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or services.
• Interfere with app operation, security, or other users' access.
• Reverse engineer or misuse the app beyond rights allowed by law.

11. Intellectual property

dScribe, including its branding, software, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to the dScribe team and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, dScribe and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for data loss, service interruption, or business interruption arising from use of the app.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to app services if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect service integrity, security, or legal compliance.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of dScribe after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Account deletion requests

Users who create a dScribe account may request account deletion through the app at dScribe → Profile → Danger Zone → Request Account Deletion, or through our account deletion page at https://dscribeapp.com/account-deletion.html. Account deletion is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

16. Erase local data

The app may provide an Erase Local Data option at dScribe → Profile → Danger Zone → Erase Local Data. This option removes local app data from your device without deleting your dScribe account.
