This Privacy Policy explains how dScribe collects, uses, and protects information when you use the dScribe Android app and related services.

dScribe is provided by Visai Teklabs, a brand operated by EZMOBILE.IN. For privacy or support questions, contact us at dscribe@ezmobile.in.

1. Local-first app design

dScribe is designed as a local-first productivity app. User-created notes, todos, reminders, checklists, lists, vault entries, and similar personal content are primarily stored on your device.

2. Information you provide

You may provide information such as:

• Account details used for sign-in (for example, email or Google account-based login).
• Support messages you send to us, including issue descriptions and attachments.
• Optional Google Drive backup and restore choices that connect your account to Google services.

3. Information generated through app use

dScribe may process limited technical and operational information required for:

• Authentication and account management.
• Entitlement or subscription status checks.
• Optional Google Drive backup metadata and service coordination.
• Abuse prevention and security monitoring.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your notes, lists, reminders, or vault content for advertising.

4. Third-party services

dScribe may use trusted third-party services to operate app features, including:

• Supabase, for authentication, account management, entitlement/subscription status, backup metadata, and app-related backend services.
• Google Sign-In, when you choose to authenticate with your Google account.
• Google Drive appDataFolder, for encrypted backup and restore when you enable or connect backup.

Your use of third-party services is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those service providers.

5. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide and maintain app functionality.
• Verify accounts and manage access to features.
• Enable optional Google Drive backup and restore workflows.
• Investigate reported issues and protect service security.
• Respond to support requests and product feedback.

6. Data sharing

We may share limited data with service providers that help run core app features (such as authentication, infrastructure, optional Google Drive backup coordination, and security operations). We do not sell personal information.

7. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect data relevant to app operation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data retention

We retain account and operational data only as long as needed for legitimate app purposes, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or service protection. Local content remains on your device unless you choose to use optional Google Drive backup.

9. Account deletion

If you have created a dScribe account, you may request deletion of your account and associated account data.

You can request account deletion in the app by opening dScribe → Profile → Danger Zone → Request Account Deletion, or by visiting https://dscribeapp.com/account-deletion.html.

When your account deletion request is processed, we delete your dScribe account and associated server-side account data, such as authentication records, backup metadata, entitlement records, and related operational records, unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or audit purposes.

dScribe is a local-first app. Notes, lists, reminders, vault entries, and similar content stored only on your device are not accessible to us through the account deletion request.

If you enabled optional Google Drive backup, you may also need to manage or delete backup data from your Google account, depending on your Google Drive settings and access.

10. Erase local data

dScribe provides an Erase Local Data option inside the app.

You can access it from dScribe → Profile → Danger Zone → Erase Local Data.

This option erases notes, lists, reminders, vault entries, and similar local app data stored on your phone. Your dScribe account remains active unless you separately request account deletion.

11. Your choices and controls

You can typically:

• Use core local-first features without enabling backup.
• Choose whether to connect Google Sign-In.
• Enable or disable optional Google Drive backup where available.
• Contact us for account and privacy requests.

12. Children's privacy

dScribe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and post the revised version.
